Adam Jackson was born in the UK to a Polish mother and a Welsh father. He began piano studies at the Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale, NY under the tutelage of Ms. Benita Meshulam after moving with his family to the US in 2010. In 2017, Adam was accepted into the Kaufman Music Center Special Music High School, began studies with renowned pianist Orli Shaham in early 2018 and entered Juilliard Pre-College in 2019. 

At the age of 10, Adam won 1st prize in the HBMS/Symphony of Westchester Concerto Competition. One year later, Adam won 1st prize in the Under-16 category at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, appearing live on British television. In 2017, Adam won the International Young Musicians competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Wales, second prize in the Leschetizky International Concerto Competition, and third prize in the Kaufman International Youth Piano Competition, New York. In 2019, Adam won 1st place in the Special Music School Concerto Competition. In 2024, Adam won 1st prize in the Dallas International Piano Competition, returning in 2025 to perform at the Moody Performance Hall.

Adam has performed with several orchestras including the Dallas Chamber Symphony, the Siletz Bay Music Festival Orchestra, the New York Chamber Players, the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, and the Symphony of Westchester. In 2017, Adam performed with the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio in Poznan, Poland alongside Piotr Paleczny and Konstanty Kulka.

Adam has attended numerous summer festivals including the 2018 Morningside Music Bridge at Fryderyk Chopin University, studying with Piotr Paleczny, Krzysztof Jabłoński, and Jay Peng Chieh Sun. He attended the 2019 & 2020 “Music@Menlo” Chamber Festival, and studied with Arie Vardi and Hung-Kuan Chen at the 2022 Aspen Music Festival. Adam attended the 2023 and 2024 Kaufman SummerFest, and the 2024 and 2025 Bowdoin International Music Festival. In 2025, Adam attended the Tianjin Juilliard Piano Festival, where he was selected to perform with the Shanghai Quartet at the festival’s closing concert. In 2026, he attended the Gijón International Piano Festival. Adam has participated in master classes with Emanuel Ax, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Richard Goode, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Mikhail Voskresensky, Alexandre Moutouzkine, David Dubal, and Ilana Vered. 

Adam Jackson completed his under-graduate piano performance studies at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Prof. Orli Shaham and Prof. Julian Martin. Remaining under their tutelage, Adam is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at the Juilliard School.

Most recently, Adam was featured on WQXR’s “Young Artists Showcase” and performed in NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series.
