Our first Chapter 2 concert, Inland Echoes, is about the quiet, inner influences that shape our lives. Sometimes it's not the big moments, but the stories and those we carry with us daily that make us who we are. Rachmaninoff's Trio No. 1 explores how a young composer tries to find his own voice in the footsteps of those he admires, while Shostakovich's Trio No. 2 struggles to escape the loss that invaded his everyday life. Robert Schumann's Märchenbilder for viola and piano takes a lighter tone, explores the childhood stories that we all share in the form of fairy tale pictures. Come join Mementos Music Group and guest pianist Aram Arakelyan for an evening of reflection at the Heritage Center Chapel. October 22nd 2026 at 6:30pm

Aram Arakelyan is a versatile pianist and pedagogue with a passion for collaborative music making. A trusted collaborator, he has been on staff at the Festival Internacional de Flauta y Maderas in Mexico, the International Horn Symposium, the Primrose International Viola Competition, the Meadowmount School of Music, and more.
